Hi, I'm Ghazal — a mom of two, educator, and nature enthusiast.

 

I've been working with children since 2012 across both public school and private settings in Ontario and Melbourne, Australia. I've had the opportunity to work as a child and youth worker, behaviour therapist, and teacher, helping children learn and grow in ways that honour their unique strengths and interests.

 

After becoming a parent, I found myself wanting more opportunities for my own children to learn through exploration, play, and real-life experiences. The more time we spent outdoors, the more I saw the incredible learning that naturally unfolds in nature. From problem-solving and creativity to confidence, resilience, and social skills, nature provides endless opportunities for children to learn in meaningful ways.

 

Sprout & Wander was born from my love of both education and the outdoors. My goal is to create a space where children can slow down, follow their curiosity, get a little muddy, and experience the joy and wonder of childhood.
